We are looking for a dentist to join our brilliant team. This position is for a Private Associate (3 to 4 days per week), starting March 2024. The role will suit someone keen to focus on preventive dentistry techniques in an environment without time or target pressures.
We are very happy to have an informal chat in the first instance – simply get in touch if this would be helpful.
We are always keen to make connections with talented individuals for consideration as opportunities arise.
Anyone interested may like to check-out our video from a previous recruitment process. It includes some of our colleagues sharing their experiences of working at the Gentle Touch dental practice.
Please get in touch with Operations Director Matthew Aplin if you’d like to submit a CV for future consideration.
We are keen to hear from good restorative dentists. An interest in smile design is helpful.
Our practice is ideally suited to committed therapists and hygienists as we are an innovative practice where new patient consultations are therapist-led and are our patients’ oral health reviews. This is imperative to patient recruitment and retention.
You will receive full onboarding and be encouraged to refresh your skills as a therapist. This is particularly true if you have not been able to use them to your potential in your previous roles.
We have EMS Airflow available to all our patients alongside conventional hygiene treatments.
Speculative CVs welcome
Along with our front-of-house team, we understand how much you are a pivotal part of the success of our practice and as such we will look after you like no other practice you have experienced. You will be part of a well-remunerated reward and recognition programme as well as a friendly team. There is a zero tolerant approach to anything that is not “on-brand” which we feel makes for a happy work life as well as lots of fun day to day. We are excited to hear from you if you think this is the sort of place you would love to work in.
Things our nurses like about working with us are:
Fabulous set up of treatment rooms
Supportive management and Principal
Clinicians who will treat you with respect
GDC registration, indemnity, uniforms and CPD funded
Reward and recognition programme: this year the team are going to Mallorca for a holiday funded by the practice as a thank you for their commitment during the pandemic.
Speculative CVs welcome.
Our service to our patients demands so much more than appointment making. You will want to serve patients as if they are entering their favorite restaurant or hotel. They should always feel valued and cared for and we need people who understand this.
Whilst we will give full training, we cannot train a good attitude, a good work ethic, good common sense, and great people skills. So, if you have these by the bucket load, we are keen to hear from you. You will be able to learn software systems quickly and preferably have experience in a private dental practice, but we are happy to take applications from missed practice or other regulated professions, the hospitality and travel industry or similar.
We invest continually in our practice in Kelso, with a refurbishment of the practice in 2020, as well as new clinics, staff room and office space completed in early 2022 and, most recently, a new PCC room and waiting room in 2022/2023. Our aim to ensure that the clinic space is a light and airy place to work. We also invest strongly in equipment, with our most recent additions including GBT Airflow machines and Invisalign 3D scanners.
