Our team is growing
Fri, 21st Aug 2026Some new faces at The Gentle Touch
We have had a busy few months, and there are several people I would like you to meet.
Dr Stuart Kirk

Stuart joins our clinical team on Monday 7 September. He qualified from the University of Dundee and first came to us as a student, shadowing here to see how we work, so he already knows the practice well.
His clinical interests are in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, particularly direct composite work, and he shares our approach: preserving as much natural tooth as possible, and taking the time to get restorations right rather than replacing them every few years.
Outside the practice, Stuart has worked in sports dentistry with the Harlequins men’s rugby squad and the England women’s national team, and he spent four weeks of his elective running screening clinics in Costa Rica and working in a cleft palate unit in Nicaragua.
Will Donovan
Many of you will already know Will, who has been with us on Saturdays for the past couple of years. From September, he joins us for a full day each week.
Will has also just passed his specialist endodontics exams, which is a considerable achievement and takes years of study on top of dental qualification. Endodontics is the treatment of the inside of the tooth, root canal treatment is the most familiar phrase. Having that expertise here means specialist treatment can be carried out routinely, for anyone who needs it.
Irene Joy
Irene joined our dental therapy team in April, relocating from Kent to be here, which we took as a considerable compliment. She has settled in beautifully, and we’re extremely fortunate to have her.
They join Dr Lyndsey Adams, Dr Ciara Sutherland and Dr Tarig Marzoug, and our dental therapists Abbie Frankland, Lynn Nash and Michelle Paxton.
Lynsey and Kaitlyn
We have also welcomed two new fantastic dental nurses, Lynsey and Kaitlyn, who come to us from the same practice. Kaitlyn arrived only last week and is already picking up our biomimetic techniques remarkably quickly, all of which is new to her.
