Ashley Swailes

Smile Advisor

SVQ level 3 Dental Nursing

GDC 198323

Ashley Swailes joined the Gentle Touch dental practice in Nov 2023 as one of our Smile Advisors. She also occasionally helps out front of house and provides chair-side support as a dental nurse when required.

Being a Smile Advisor allows Ashley to use her clinical knowledge to help new and existing patients throughout their dental journey. She helps patients by giving them a better understanding of their dental options, the process, costs and the available payment options. Overall, Ashley’s role is to help patients to achieve their dental goals. Ashley is just at the end of the phone for patients with treatment queries to offer support.

Ashley started her dental career as a trainee dental nurse in 2008 before undergoing further training to become a treatment coordinator in 2015. Over the years she has expanded her knowledge with continuous training including becoming qualified in dental radiography for dental nurses in 2021. She now has over 15 years of experience in private dentistry.

Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends in her free time. When she’s not running about after her daughter Willow, Ashley turns her attention to her overall wellbeing and she likes to keep relatively fit and healthy.
