“What I love most about dentistry is the moment a patient feels at ease – when fear gives way to trust, and discomfort to relief. I first saw this during my earliest clinical training, caring for patients in severe pain and witnessing the gratitude that came with their comfort. That experience shaped everything since: gentle, patient-centred care is at the heart of how I practise. I take particular pride in supporting anxious patients and children, and I’m passionate about preventive and biomimetic dentistry – conservative approaches that protect and preserve your natural teeth for the long term.”

Professional Background

Irene graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Kerala University in 2020. From her earliest clinical training, she discovered that the most meaningful part of dentistry was relieving pain and helping patients feel comfortable again. Supporting patients with severe toothache during her final clinical rotations – and witnessing their relief and gratitude – confirmed her commitment to placing patient care at the heart of everything she does.

After graduating, Irene worked in private dental practice in Kochi, India, where she built a strong foundation in general dentistry. She later moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s degree in Oral Sciences at the University of Glasgow, completing the course with distinction. Her research focused on regenerative dentistry and the potential of stem cells to preserve the vitality of natural teeth – an area she believes points to an exciting future for preventive and conservative dental care.

Irene has since gained valuable experience working in mixed NHS and private practices in the UK, caring for a wide and diverse patient population. She takes particular pride in helping anxious patients and children feel relaxed, understood, and confident during their visits.
