Advert for dental receptionist role in Kelso

Current opportunity details: Dental Receptionist

We are looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team, permanently on either a full-time or part-time basis. The role would suit someone who is proactive, well-organised and an excellent communicator. Above all, we are interested in people with a positive and friendly attitude.

Although this role has been created by one of our team heading off on maternity leave, we are able to offer the role as a permanent position.

Closing date – Friday 18th August. CVs should be sent to gillian@gentletouch.dental. We are very happy to have an informal chat in the first instance – simply get in touch if this would be helpful.

What’s it like to work in reception at the Gentle Touch?

We are a friendly, professional and caring dental practice in the beautiful market town of Kelso, in the Scottish Borders. Working here gives you the chance of a superb quality of life, with colleagues who work extremely well together.

Our service to our patients demands so much more than appointment-making. We’re looking for team members who will enjoy treating patients as if they are entering their favorite restaurant or hotel. They should always feel valued and cared-for and we need people who understand this.

Whilst we will give full training, we cannot train a good attitude, a good work ethic, good common sense, and great people skills. So, if you have these by the bucket load, we are keen to hear from you! We’re looking for someone who can learn software systems quickly and preferably have experience in a private dental practice. However, we are happy to take applications from other backgrounds including other healthcare practices or regulated professions, the hospitality and travel industry or similar.
