New Dental Therapist role – recruiting now

Tue, 24th Jun 2025

We have an opportunity for a dental therapist to join us for three to four days a week, with flexible start times and a private patient list.

Our therapists work to their full scope – not just in theory, but every day in practice. With our full support, they lead private check-ups, carry out restorative treatment using biomimetic techniques, and play a central role in the long-term care of their patients.

All of our clinical team are trained in a biomimetic approach, and our restorations are designed to mimic the natural function of teeth. This means treatment is not only minimally invasive, but also long-lasting, predictable and kind to the patient. We provide our dental therapists with biomimetics training and mentorship in-house, led by Principal Dentist Amber Aplin.

You’ll be supported to work at a pace that suits your clinical style – you choose your appointment times. You’ll always work with a nurse, and you’ll be seeing lovely, loyal private patients who are on a membership plan and value a preventive approach.

Excellent equipment, training and support

As well as all the usuals, we’ll also provide every therapist with:

You’ll have access to regular CPD and full funding for courses you’d like to do. If you want to develop a special interest, we’ll support you all the way.

We believe in protecting our team and creating a calm, respectful environment for both patients and staff. If a patient isn’t the right fit for the practice, we’ll take care of it so you can focus on doing your best work.

We have a close-knit, kind and welcoming team; and we look after each other. That’s a big part of why many of us say it doesn’t feel like going to work.

Additional benefits

Some of the benefits include:

We’re proud to be leading the way in therapist-led care and now run regular courses to support other practices to do the same. You’ll be part of something that’s growing and making a difference.

How to apply

If you’d like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we’d be very happy to have a conversation.

You can send a CV with a cover letter, and any questions, to Matthew Aplin on matthew@gentletouch.dental.
